About

As an artist and writer, I direct attention to things that are often overlooked.

I work in collage in particular to appreciate the beauty and abundance of everyday, quickly discarded materials. My visual art has been exhibited in Lawrence, Kansas, and Pomona, California, and has appeared in Contemporary Collage Magazine and UPPERCASE. The Volume G: GLUE installment of the UPPERCASE Encyclopedia of Inspiration book series showcases my work in collage and visual poetry.

My writing has appeared in journals that include the North American Review, Ninth Letter, Bear Review, Cutleaf, the Banyan Review, the Cimarron Review, and Midwestern Gothic.

I grew up in rural Iowa and live in Kansas City, Missouri.
